Outreach Roundtables

One-day workshops for meetings interested in outreach.

About Outreach Roundtables

Outreach Roundtables are one-day workshops focused on exploring, sharing, and honing ideas, resources, and practices in Quaker outreach. These are true workshops, in that the focus is on doing and practical outcomes.

The Program

Outreach Roundtables typically consist of three parts:

  • Presentations and discussion: several Friends with experience or expertise in some aspect of outreach share what they know, answer questions, and lead a discussion.
  • What's working: participants share resources and things they've done in their own meetings.
  • Next steps: a discussion focused on what participants can bring back to their meetings and ideas for projects they could undertake.
